Thursday ( Repetiton.. @ 1:27:00 AM ) "Just as always..." This was what I thought to myself.... Before I realise, it is NOT as always. Mobtv had only been introduced recently, but because I see it so many times, my mind instinctively tells me it is the usual stuff. Have you experiences time where you hear a recent CD you bought for so many times till you kinda able to hear the tune in your mind of the next song after the current song? Or have you watch a show for so many times that you know what is gonna be said next? Or maybe even someone who always say a particular line, that when you talk about them, the first thing you think of is that line? "Where is my signal now?..... Nyah~.... Alamak I forget to put back my library book!... Ah my 9 dollars.... Guitars... people be more flexible..."etc etc etc etc Repetition. It causes us to instinctively recognise something as the norms. Ever thought that a decision you made, things you said, clothes you wear or even any creative ideas you have could be a result of another? There's no creativity left in this world, not to mention originality. The closest we could get is innovation. We just combine one idea with another to come up with a "new" idea. 0 comments |
