Finally change the template... now got mood to type liao hehe :p So long never type liao... what should i type leh... hmm.... eh.... hai.... I dun know +_+... Oh yah went for the Singapore Idol audition as a crew.... quite an experience... you get to see different types of people there... some go for experience, some for fame, others to have a good time. Of course, i did met some people whom i kept asking myself "why the heck did they come for?" AND that's when i realise something... we chinese are very "thin-skin" ... Evidences 1) Majority of the contestants are malays 2) majority of the chinese will go " hai yo why this guy come for audition when he cant sing.... so "dui lian"! (humiliating)" Conclusion: Chinese pay more attention to their image then anything else. And I admit I am like that too. Its like even if i have a chance to go for the audition, i wouldn't dare to go, for fear of "losing face". But I think this personality us a liability... it makes us learn / experience less than others... Next time when you see pink lady or careless whisper on air, try not to laugh at them, for they have that one thing that you and me hasn't- the courage to try. 0 comments |
