Thursday ( Beauty @ 11:19:00 PM ) This week they talk about the biasness of society to naturally judge people from their looks. They mention about the use of make-ups... some feel it is an act of inferiority while others feel that it is an act of politeness. We often hear people saying that putting on make-up "gives me more confidence". But does it really gives you more confidence? Are you more confident of your face, your looks, or even yourselves, or are you just confident of that layer of mask you have just put on your face? Do you become confident of yourselve just by putting on the make-up, or do you regain your confidence from the stare the guys / girls give you, or even your friends telling you how pretty you look? I do admit, I don't feel I look pretty. I look pale and my face is real big. But then, I don't feel good putting on make-up. I do not want to put on that mask and identify that mask as Pamela, as me. Not feeling confidence is an act of your heart. It is your heart that you should be "painting", not your face. 0 comments |
