Is there a difference betweeen adults and children?

Are adults really adults?

We claim that children "know nothing of the world".

Wrong. They know the world, but they just do not know the "world" adults have create.

Office politics... saving face strategies... keeping your "image"....

Children are born with the purest character one would ever have....

Till we start to brainwash them.

Don't make noise... You cannot do this... You see everybody is looking at you....

We taught them the sense of shame, we taught them the skill of "masking", we conform them to the norms of the society. We glorifies the stuff adults do, and for stuff children do, it is deemed as childish.... a way to draw a line between the superior "us", and the inferior "them".

Are we really adults?
